What Are The Promise Letters?
The Promise Letters™ are a faith-based Christmas letter collection featuring twelve handwritten letters from biblical figures who lived the Christmas story in real time. Each letter is written in first-person, period-accurate voice, rooted entirely in KJV Scripture, and delivered one at a time throughout the Advent season — by mail, by email, or as a complete gift set.
The collection includes letters from Isaiah, Daniel, Elizabeth, Mary, Joseph, the Innkeeper, the Shepherd, the Magi, Herod, Anna, Simeon, and James — twelve voices, one story, unfolding across the season the way the first Christmas did: one moment at a time.

Who Are the 12 Biblical Characters in The Promise Letters?
Your first shipment will be mailed out/made available on November 23rd & each week leading up to Christmas Day!
Letter 1
Isaiah, Old Testament Prophet
The Voice That Wrote to a Generation He Would Never Meet
Centuries before the manger, Isaiah saw what was coming & wrote it down for someone he could not name. His is the only letter in this collection addressed not to a friend, but to the future. To you.
Letter 2
Daniel, Prophet & Head of Magi
The Man Who Preserved the Promise Across Centuries
Carried into exile as a young man, Daniel rose to serve in the courts, quietly passing down an ancient charge to his scholars: Watch the skies. Follow the star. Find the King. His letter explains how the Magi still knew exactly where to look.
Letter 3
Elisabeth
Mother of John the Baptist
The Woman Who Knew First
Elderly, miraculous with child & sworn to seclusion - Elisabeth writes before her young cousin Mary has arrived at her door. Full of wonder at what she carries, and what she knows is coming. Her letter is quiet, radiant & waiting.
Letter 4
Mary, Mother of Jesus
The Girl Who Said Yes
She writes from Elizabeth's house, days after the angel's visit. She is young. She is afraid. She does not fully understand what has been destined for her. But she has said yes & in this letter, she is trying to find the words for the moment that changed her life.
Letter 5
Joseph, Father of Jesus
The Man Who Trusted
A man of few recorded words in Scripture, Joseph speaks here with quiet conviction. He writes about the ancient Jewish betrothal tradition where the groom leaves to prepare a place & how he's been trusted to raise the promised Savior.
Letter 6
Herod, King of Judea
The Jealous King
It was never meant to be read. Herod writes in a private diary - unaddressed, unguarded & deeply revealing. He is the only one who does not know he is part of the story & how God moved in spite of Herod's hate.
Letter 7
Armias of The Magi
Astronomer & Keeper of the Charge
Scholars, astronomers & keepers of an ancient promise - the Magi write days still from their destination. This letter is full of wonder & long expectation. The feeling of being close to something you have studied your entire life, but never seen.
Letter 8
Dathan the Innkeeper
The Man Who Didn't Know
He did not know who they were. That is the mercy of his letter & the weight of it. Dathan writes on the night a young couple arrived at his door, exhausted & turned away. He does not yet know what happened in the stable behind his inn. But you do.
Letter 9
The Shepherd
The Witness To The Angels
His letter carries what most Christmas retellings leave out - the fear, the rumors, the question of why heaven would speak to men like them. And then: the manger. A Savior who came for them. This is a voted favorite you'll receive for your Christmas celebration!
Letter 10
Simeon at the Temple
The Man Who Waited a Lifetime
He had been told he would not die before he saw the Lord's Christ. He simply held that promise & kept waiting in faith. His letter is a benediction & fulfillment of a life's work of waiting.
Letter 11
Anna at the Temple
The Prophetess Who Praised
She had not left the Temple in decades - fasting, praying, waiting... When the young family arrived to present their firstborn son, Anna knew. Her letter sparks the spread of the word of the Savior!
Letter 12
James, Jesus' Brother
The Youngest Voice
The brother of Jesus writes to his best friend about the story their family tells every year. He closes the collection as only a child can: with wonder that hasn't yet been complicated by theology & a foreshadowing to the future to come.
